Rose Bleiweis, LCSW-C
About Me
Hi! Welcome to my practice. My name is Rose Bleiweis, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia. I’m so lucky to do what I love every day and be on the healing journey alongside you.
With over 10 years in the field, I have advanced training and years of experience in working with clients with a range of concerns. I am pleased to work with adolescents and adults on a range of general issues, such as life adjustments, relationship stressors, trauma, anxiety, and reproductive concerns. I provide client-centered care, meeting each client where they are at and catering my approach and our work to each client’s comfort level and needs. I provide support that is genuine and professional, while incorporating some humor (I usually think I’m funnier than I am, so bear with me), when appropriate as well.
In addition to providing general therapy, I hold a specialization and passion for helping moms navigate the toughest chapters, understanding that motherhood starts in the heart and not in the womb—whether you’re trying to become a mom and facing infertility or stress with the journey, grieving a loss, adjusting to life postpartum, or facing parenting or identity struggles in this motherhood journey, the time and space of therapy is here for you. I have received advanced training through Postpartum Support International in infertility, pregnancy loss, and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs). I also provide evaluations for Third-Party reproduction and IVF cycle coaching. I am pleased to run support groups for new moms and those going through infertility and secondary infertility. Additionally, I have been interviewed for Instagram Lives, blogs, and have trained other professionals on infertility and PMADs.
Aligning with the specialization described above, I hold a deep passion for helping people navigate the difficulties of infertility and pregnancy loss. These areas are close to my heart both professionally and personally, as an IVF and rainbow baby mom. Having gone through this journey myself, I understand and relate to the emotional complexities of these experiences and the pressures placed on new parents during the perinatal, pregnancy, and postpartum periods. This dual perspective—combining personal insight with professional expertise—allows me to provide empathic, up-to-date care tailored to your unique needs.
My work with clients includes helping them to re-define their narratives, find ways to advocate for themselves, cope with emotions that feel tough, challenge their negative beliefs, and learn to do the most important (yet hardest) thing – to love and trust themselves unconditionally.
No matter what you’re facing, I’m here to help you on your journey toward well-being and fulfillment. Whether you prefer in-person sessions in North Bethesda, MD (with free coffee, snacks, and a comfy couch!) or telehealth options for clients in MD, DC, and VA, I offer a supportive, non-judgmental space for healing. When I’m not in sessions, I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids, being outdoors, and cozying up at home.
