Welcome to Hopeful Core Therapy!
Offering in-person sessions in North Bethesda, MD and telehealth to clients throughout the DMV and Florida.
How We’ll Work Together
We begin with an intake session, which helps me get to know you in depth — from the areas you’re working on healing and growing, to the parts of you that are already thriving. You matter to me as a whole person. During this session, we’ll review informed consent and confidentiality, discuss my approach, and go over the form you completed prior to our meeting. This helps me understand who you are and ensures we can tailor our work to what will best serve you.”
Who I help
I specialize in working with moms and women’s issues, but I’m here to provide client-centered care for all identities, races, religions, and genders. I work with individuals, couples, and families, and I welcome clients starting at age 14. Whether you’re dealing with personal challenges, relationship struggles, or family dynamics, I’m committed to helping you find the support you need.
My Why: Why I Do This Work
To put it simply — I’ve been there. I’ve faced many of the same challenges my clients navigate. I’ve walked through infertility, IVF, the pain of pregnancy loss, and the pressure of trying to ‘be the best’ as a parent in a society that demands perfection. I understand the importance of having a trusting, non-judgmental space where you can speak your truth. I feel honored to hold space for those vulnerable moments — when someone shares, ‘I’ve never told anyone this before,’ or ‘I’m glad I can say this without being judged.’ I know how it feels to be unheard and to struggle with intense emotions. I am here to help you navigate those moments with compassion and support.
People Start to Heal As Soon As They Feel Heard
Healing begins the moment you feel heard. I am here to listen, validate, and understand your story. But I also believe that real change comes through action. I’ll challenge you, guide you, and support you every step of the way. We’ll reframe your thoughts, strengthen your self-compassion, and give you permission to embrace things you may not have allowed yourself before — like being imperfect, showing yourself grace, or setting boundaries. But first, I am here to hear you.
Personal Touch
In addition to being a therapist, my other roles include: mom, wife, friend, daughter, and sister. When I’m not in session, you’ll likely find me spending time with my family, trying (sometimes unsuccessfully) to keep up with my kids, thrifting, or spending time outdoors. I strive to find a healthy work-life balance, so I can show up for all of my roles and I help clients to do the same.
